After reading the Seven and 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners, I have decided that Habit 7 is the easiest for me. Teaching and mentoring others is very easy for me. I have a 12 year old younger sister and it means the world to me for her to do well as a young growing girl and to do well in school. Whenever she needs help with school or anything I am always here for her. I am always teaching Tracie, my sister, new things everyday about school and how to be the best person she can. As for the hardest habit I would have to say is Habit 4. I have a very low confidence when it comes to learning and understanding things about school, computers, work, etc. This is probably my biggest flaw about myself. I am always scared I am not doing anything right and if i ask for help I feel stupid for not understanding.
While using, Web 2.0 tools, I plan on learning as much as possible. I hope that this website will help me with setting up any future blogs or anything to do with online. So far it has seemed very helpful and easy. When I was trying to add myself as a new user, it was difficult at first but luckily I had the help that was needed. Surfing this website, I have already been able to easily understand things. I just have to try a little harder but other than that, to me, it has been fairly easy to navigate.
I think it is great that you are such a good role model to your younger sister. I bet it means even more to her to have her big sister there to guide her and help her whenever she needs it.
ReplyDeleteI totally know how you feel about not being sure if you're doing something right. Don't be scared! I'm sure you are very smart with all this technology stuff! :)Also, you should NEVER feel stupid for asking questions. It is the best way to learn!
